She’s A Lady
You can watch the newly released Forever the Sickest Kids music video for “She’s a Lady” on Youtube. Not the second single I would’ve chosen, but whatever. I would probably have gone with either “Believe Me I’m Lying” or “Breakdown”, I like those better.
Viva La Vida Videos
Coldplay have released two new videos for their brilliant song “Viva La Vida”. The videos themselves are rather weird, quite experimental, but cool nonetheless I guess. But I think I was expecting something else. The song is still fantastic though and easily my favorite off Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, which as a record that unfortunately didn’t do an awful lot for me.
The Resolution
The new Jack’s Mannequin single “The Resolution” can now be heard on Myspace and it’s amazing! I’m definitely not disappointed that’s for sure. I’m so excited for The Glass Passenger, which you can preorder and receive “Miss California” (a bonus track) instantly. It may be too much to ask for, but I could definitely see the album being my favorite of 2008. That’s how much I believe in it.

InnerPartySystem
Just found this band called InnerPartySystem, which is a blend of electronica and rock and I’m liking what I’m hearing. You should really check out their first and only single “Don’t Stop” (watch the music video). Their Purevolume and Myspace pages are also a must. So far the only material they have out is a 5 song EP titled The Download EP, which you can buy on Amazon. Their debut album drops in September.
Black and Gold
Sam Sparro’s “Black and Gold” is such a solid track. It’s unique, dark and just really, really good. Somehow it reminds me of Katy Perry’s latest hit “I Kissed A Girl” though. That’s a good thing.
