AND IN THAT MOMENT, I SWEAR WE WERE INFINITE

Nighteye is a weblog written by Dennis Ihlemann, a 21-year-old design aficionado hailing from Denmark. This site is a collection of his thoughts on movies, games, music, television, technology, anime, books, design, photography, typography, life, etc. Oh, and with a bit of lolcat thrown in here and there for good measure.

iPhone 3G in Japan

Some people speculated that the iPhone wouldn’t do well in Japan, but Danny Choo’s blog post proves that’s not the case. At all actually! If that didn’t made you click on the link, then how about the fact that you can see Danny Choo in his infamous Stormtrooper armor (as seen in this classic video)? That guy is just awesome.

Cascada - Last Christmas

Christmas = <3

Caramel Dansen

Caramel Dansen (The Caramel Dance), another one of those anime flash loops with an incredibly annoying, but strangely addictive song. This time it’s a Swedish song.

Velvet - Fix Me

Terrible video, but awesome dance song that single-handedly managed to get me in a partying mood today. What is it about Sweden? They’re so freaking good at making dance songs. Well this will go on the CD I’m making for a party in a few weeks. When the CD is done I’ll blog about the list of songs here that I’ve decided on… or something.

What I’m Listening To #24

I’m trying to keep these song lists shorter, but it can be difficult sometimes as there’s a lot a of songs I want everybody out there to listen to.

Daniele De Bellis - Cosa Dire Cosa Far (The Produxer Mix)

Just bought this track through Audiojelly.com and I really like it. :-)

Inez - On The Spot

Two hit singles from this Danish group in a row in my opinion. I love their other track called “Stronger”. Be sure to check that out as well, makes me damn proud to be Danish!

Basshunter - Russia Privjet (Club Mix)

A very good song from Swedish Basshunter, who most of you have probably heard of by now.

Chris Cornell - You Know My Name

The theme song for Casino Royale, the new James Bond movie.

What I’m Listening To #23

I’ve collected the entire “What I’m Listening To” series in my new section called “Music“, which can also be found above in the header.

Interphace - Para El Frente

Serves as the song that gets me pumped for school these days.

Freeloader - Come Dance With Me

A “Norwegian trance act” according to Wikipedia. This song really moves me. I was recommended to get this song months ago, but randomly stumbled upon it the other day.

Come dance with me once again
And let it never end
We’re ment to be
Forever as one

Bermuda Lovers - My Girl

A nice and pretty straight-forward song.

Kim Wilde - Four Letter Word

Wow this song is SO “Last Christmas”. Not as in it’s old, but it reminds me a lot of that song and that’s a good thing. A very Christmasy song from her new comeback album.

Sunblock Feat. Robin Beck - First Time

These Swedish guys have remixed the 80s song of same name. I love it!

Starclub feat. Dr. Alban - Chiki Chiki (Interphace Radio Edit)

I have already featured “Chiki Chiki” here once, but this is a remix that really makes the song even better!

Interphace - No One Else

From Interphace’s 2005 album.

What I’m Listening To #16

DJ Timo - Wildstyle DJ 2006 (Interphace Radio Mix)

This song KICKS FUCKING ASS! I love it. Reminds me a lot of the (almost) equally good “Dr. Feelgood” by Interphace.

DJ Lhasa - Baby One Day (Original Version)

A song that has really grown on me and is one of the songs on my iPod I listen the most to.

Akcent - French Kiss

Romanian Akcent’s new song from the new album “French Kiss With Kylie”. “Kylie” is probably my favorite song though, but that song has already been featured on here.

Akcent - Suflet Pereche

A nice and quiet song that I really like right now.

Kim Sozzi - Break Up (Cascada Remix)

If you like Cascada, you’ll like this one.

Cerla vs. DJ Manian - Jump (Italobrothers FM Mix)

If you love italo, then this is for you.

DHT feat. Edmee - Listen To Your Heart (Rob Mayth Remix Radio Edit)

You’ve probably already heard Belgian DHT’s “Listen To Your Heart”, but this remix by the pretty cool Rob Mayth is a bit harder = better.

Nephew - Igen Og Igen

These guys are immensely popular here in Denmark.

Lasgo - Hold Me Now

Lasgo is back with another track. I think it’s pretty good, even though it’s not exactly a party starter.

Hans Massarge - Live It Up

A happy track.

Mashonda - Back Of Da Club

I don’t know why, but I like this song a lot.

What I’m Listening To #8

I usually list 5 songs I’m enjoying at the moment, but this time around there’s simply too many for me to choose from. So here’s 10 songs including samples of what I listen to:

DJ Morales - Sarah (Spanenglish Edit)

This song reminds me a lot of the hit “Guilia”, but with the name Sarah instead… which isn’t such a bad thing at all. I really dig this song and did since the first time I listened to it, even though I’d probably wish that the trance melody was better, but then again I’ve only listened to this one version of the song.

Klaus Badelt - He’s A Pirate (Tiesto Radio Edit)

So Disney invited the famous DJ Tiesto to remix and make an epic trance song out of the theme song of Pirates Of The Carribean 2. It turned out pretty good in my opinion. I especially like the part that I’ve chosen for the sample.

And One - Military Fashion Show (Club Hit)

There’s something really weird, but good about this song. I can’t really put my finger on it, but I really like it more with each listen.

Hi-Tack - Say Say Say (Waiting 4U)

Is this an old Michael Jackson song or something? That was all I could think of when I heard it for the first time, but I like it. More than I did to begin with.

Elephant Man feat. Pitbull, NinaSky & Lil Jon - Now Drop (Remix)

Has a really great beat to it even though it sounds familiar, but what songs these days doesn’t?

Millennium - Day After Day (Fat Bass Edit)

A remix of a mid-90s song if I remember correctly. I think I read that somewhere. I really like it.

200 - The Darkness (Single Edit)

Good song, although it might be a bit cliché here in 2006 with the “the darkness” spoken in a really deep voice. I’ve heard tons of songs like this, but it’s still pretty good.

Metallica - Hero Of The Day

A good online buddy of mine recently got me into Metallica again. I love this song off of the “Symphony And Metallica” album.

Mondo Marcio - Tieni Duro

A good song. I especially like the chorus with the girl singing. Sounds like an old song, but I like that.

Jesselyn - Iron (Original Edit)

Awesome trance song. I’ll be listening to this for a while.

Wax - Money

I think this Korean song is pretty well known in most of Asia. An up-beat dance song with an awesome sound to it, although it doesn’t kick in until about a minute into the video.
