Panic!
In celebration of Panic! at the Disco’s new demo clip and soon-to-be-released single “New Perspective” I would like to introduce you to 3 wonderful covers by them I’ve enjoyed recently. That clip on the official website sounds very promising by the way, sounds like they’re going back to their original dancey style. I’m not complaining! Even though it’s just a demo I’m already loving it.
“Karma Police” (Radiohead cover)
“Round Here” (Counting Crows cover)
“Slow Motion” (Third Eye Blind cover)
Fall Out Boy Artwork

I love it. “Folie á Deux” will be released November 4th. Color me fucking excited!
Folie à deux (literally, “a madness shared by two”) is a rare psychiatric syndrome in which a symptom of psychosis (particularly a paranoid or delusional belief) is transmitted from one individual to another.
Champion
I’m not a big fan of Kanye West, but I did like Graduation (and the cover art by Takashi Murakami), so that’s why I’m here to let you know that his brand new music video for “Champion” has been released. I’m not sure I like the changes in the song compared to the album version though.
The Academy Is… Almost Here
The cover art for the upcoming The Academy Is… album “Fast Times At Barrington High” has been released and even though I don’t like the cover nearly as much as their debut album Almost Here I think it suits their new direction. “About A Girl” will be the first single and you can stream a clip here. You can also check out the track listing, which has just been revealed as well.
“Fast Times At Barrington High” will be released August 19th.
Beat It
I’ve been listening to and loving this awesome cover of Michael Jackson’s song of same name for a while. It’s by Fall Out Boy with John Mayor on guitar. It’s great.

Using MagMyPic I’m now on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
Pretty. Odd. Cover
Panic at the Disco’s cover art for their upcoming album Pretty. Odd. has been revealed on their website. (You have to click on the pieces to reveal the entire cover).
Panic’s Album Art Is Almost Complete
Five days ago Panic at the Disco started leaving pieces of their album cover around the Internet for the fans to find. Now only a single piece is missing; probably the most interesting one of course. I wonder what the writing says? “Welcome to the show”? Anyway, I think it’s a very pretty cover, which seems to go well with their new Beatles-esque sound. I’m trying not to get too excited about the new album, but I have a feeling it’ll be an album full of simple, but timeless songs that will make for a great spring/summer album. Having heard only part of the single, the intro and another song it’s just a hunch at this point though.
Nine in the Afternoon Gets iTunes Release Date
Nine in the Afternoon, the first single by Panic at the Disco gets a digital release date.
Panic At The Disco will be releasing their single “Nine In The Afternoon” in the UK physically on March 10th and digitally on March 3rd, but will be available on iTunes in the US on January 29th. AbsolutePunk.net
That’s not as far away as I initially thought. The US date I mean. That is if I can actually access the US iTMS. Now that I think about it, I don’t think I can.
A small version of the single cover can be found here.
Sidenote
Does anyone know how to extract the large version of a cover from iTMS?
Kanye West’s Album Cover
I’m not a big fan of Kanye West. In fact, I’m not fan at all, but I really dig what renowned Japanese artist Takashi Murakami has done with the cover of Kanye’s upcoming album. Click the image to view a larger version.
