AND IN THAT MOMENT, I SWEAR WE WERE INFINITE

My Sassy Girl Remake Trailer

My Sassy Girl

The original My Sassy Girl from 2001 starring Tae-hyun Cha and Gianna Jun.

The American remake of my all-time favorite movie (along with Battle Royale) My Sassy Girl will soon be in theaters.

I’m not sure how I feel about the trailer. It was kind of odd seeing scenes that I know and love from the original Korean movie in English and I’m pretty nervous about how well some things will translate. It could easily turn out to be really bad compared to the original movie, but we’ll have to wait and see, maybe it’ll surprise me? The only reason I’m a bit positive about this is because I hope that this will mean that some people will hunt down the Korean version and love it as much as I do… which is sort of impossible, because I love it with the passion of a thousand suns! But, you know, I hope people will at least know about it.

Watch the trailer that recently showed up on Youtube.

God, Inc.

A comedy about life in the corporate offices of God. What if all the problems on earth were not caused by a spiteful deity, or karma, or fate, but just office politics and the Peter Principle?

Here’s episode 1.

The Colbert Report

I’m in awe. I simply can’t get over how good and fun The Colbert Report is and I don’t even care for politics at all. I’ve watched the first season (32 episodes) in, like 2 or 3 sittings and I can’t get enough! I guess I keep watching because of Stephen himself, since the character he’s playing is so well done. He’s SO funny and SO American it cracks me up.

Two things you need to get into the show:

Checking out the #1 fansite out there. (Colbert Nation)

And of course watch the show itself: (kindly uploaded by rayato. 1st episode here.)

Just watch the first episode and I’m sure you’ll know what I mean..

He Was Cool

Another movie, which is based on stories posted on the Internet. It’s a trend in Korea apparently.

He Was Cool is a crazy Korean romantic comedy, which I found myself enjoying in certain parts. But all in all it doesn’t bring anything new to the genre, which I don’t expect mind you, but I still didn’t think it was anything more than average. It’s still worth a look though, as there were some parts I really enjoyed and laughed at.

Having replied to a wicked post on her school website, Ye-won keeps getting a threatening call from a boy named Ji Eun-sung. Having heard about him from her friend, she keeps running away from him. But they kissed accidentally when Ye-won was trying to escape from him. Having his lips stolen by Ye-won, Eun-sung threatens her to marry him, adding that no other girl has ever kissed him before. The only thing Ye-won can do is to obey for whatever Eun-sung said. At first, Ye-won just hate him the most for his self-righteousness and unreasonableness. But she gradually finds herself is starting to fall for him…

I’m gonna rate the movie 6.5/10.

Here’s a music video made from the movie:
