Cinema Bizarre
While Cinema Bizarre is a band that is made up of guys who look like something out of a Final Fantasy game/anime their album Final Attraction kicks some serious ass. It’s like futuristic powerpop/rock or something like that. I listen to all the songs, which happens so rarely. I simply can’t get enough. Be sure to check out my previous post about their first single.
PS: Now that I think about it the theme of the record also reminds me a great deal of Blade Runner. The cover, some of the sounds in the songs. That and Final Fantasy.
PPS: The song The Way We Are sounds so much like Linkin Park.

Haruhi Around the World
The anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya has taken the world by storm. Not only because of its absolutely ingenious and original storyline, but also for the dance that appears to the ending song at the end of each episode. People from around the world, yes even Denmark as evident below, are taking part in this. I’m so pumped for season 2 whenever it arrives!
Another Evangelion 1.0 Review

There’s a review of Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone on Otaku News. I still can’t believe the movie hasn’t found its way onto various Bittorrent sites. Not that I would ever use one of those, but still…
This new film is excellent, and it wasn’t just the thrill of seeing it in Japan. Fans of the series that would approach this film with trepidation can be reassured that while changes have been made, it all seems to be for the better, and the addition of CG elements is subtle and looks stunning.
GTA Anime Mod
In case you always wanted to see what Grand Theft Auto in anime style would look like, then here’s a little video for you. You’ll find characters from Lucky ☆ Star and… well Picachus. A lot of them.
5 Centimeters Per Second

5 Centimeters Per Second is an anime movie consisting of 3 parts and was released in Japan on July 19th and will be released in the US in December. The “episodes” takes place from sometime in the 90s to 2008.
Here’s a little bit about each episode taken from good ol’ Wikipedia.
Episode 1: Ōkashō
Ōkashō (Cherry Blossom Extract): Upon graduating from elementary school, Takaki Tōno and his close friend Akari Shinohara drifted apart. Akari moved to Tochigi Prefecture due to her parents’ jobs, while Takaki attended a junior high in Tokyo. The two kept in contact by writing letters, but despite the special feelings that existed between them, the only thing that persisted was time. When Takaki became aware that his family would move to Kagoshima, he decided to go see Akari since they would be too far apart to visit each other after he moved. However, when the day came, a severe snowstorm delayed Takaki’s trip, and it would be hours before he reached Iwafune, where they promised to meet.
Episode 2: Cosmonaut
Takaki is now in the third year of senior high in Tanegashima, where the Tanegashima Space Center is located. Kanae Sumita, a classmate of Takaki, has special feelings for Takaki, but she does not have the courage to express her love to him. She later observes that Takaki is always staring off into the distance, as if searching for something far far away.
Episode 3: Byōsoku 5 Centimeters
It is now 2008, and all three characters have gone their separate ways. Takaki is now a computer programmer in Tokyo, and Akari is preparing to get married. One day, Takaki goes out and sees the face of a familiar-looking woman at a railroad-crossing. Puzzled by the encounter, he tries to look back, but a train comes and cuts off his view.

Even though I haven’t watched the movie yet, I’m still in love with the artwork. It simply looks stunning!

Utada Hikaru - Beautiful World (Theme Song For Upcoming Evangelion Movie)
Gotta say I’m pretty damn excited about Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone!
Rebuild of Evangelion Trailer
Rebuild of Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone is gonna be fucking epic!
From Wikipedia:
Several iconic scenes from the original series that have been recreated almost shot for shot, re-animated with modern digital animation techniques.
The production team has already stated that the film will end with the defeat of the 5th Angel, Ramiel. The trailer shows a glimpse of Ramiel in addition to reveals that the third and fourth angels, Sachiel and Shamshel, with updated designs.
Toji beating up Shinji as in Episode 3 of the series in retribution for his sister being injured in the battle against Sachiel.
Rei will be bandaged similar to how she was through the first three episodes as a result of her injuries when Eva 00 went berserk.
Several shots of Evangelion Unit-01 being powered up inside of the Eva launch bay and Eva Unit 00 holding its shield right before the fight against Ramiel are included.
Some glimpses are seen of Tokyo-3’s buildings emerging from the ground, utilizing the new computer generated imagery
The trailer ends with orbital shots of Japan completely turning going dark and then powering up again, as part of Operation Yashima in the fight with Ramiel (a similar orbital view appearing in the original series).
Utada Hikaru will be providing the theme song “Beautiful World” of her single Beautiful World / Kiss & Cry. “Fly Me To The Moon” also has a newly-created reprise remix from the original released in 2000. It serves as the theatrical trailer’s song.
I’m so pumped for this movie!

Absolutely Insane: Anime Girl Drawn In HTML
This is one of the most insane videos I’ve watched lately. This Japanese guy uses thousands of lines of HTML to draw an anime character.
