Great news for all of us who’s rooting for Firefox to gain world domination:
According to the most recent data made available by the market research firm today, the Internet Explorer stands at 69.88% today, while Firefox 2 and 3 account for a combined market share of 20.68%.
Judging from the trailer Sex Drive looks like it’s gonna be the next American Pie, Road Trip, Euro Trip, etc. The reason I’m even posting this though is actually because Fall Out Boy will appear (as they do for a second in the trailer) in the movie and that’s something I’m pretty excited about even though it may only be for a brief moment. It will be released October 10th in the US.
Just found this band called InnerPartySystem, which is a blend of electronica and rock and I’m liking what I’m hearing. You should really check out their first and only single “Don’t Stop” (watch the music video). Their Purevolume and Myspace pages are also a must. So far the only material they have out is a 5 song EP titled The Download EP, which you can buy on Amazon. Their debut album drops in September.
Breathe Carolina are releasing their debut album It’s Classy, Not Classic September 16th, 2008. Personally I’m very excited about this release, because I freaking love their EP Gossip. The only thing that’s not that great about all this is that we’re only getting 6 new songs. Oh well, as long as they’re good I don’t mind.

Yesterday I discovered a new band that I really like. They’re called Big City Dreams and you can listen to their music on their Purevolume and Myspace pages. My favorite song is definitely “I Am Your Density… I Mean Your Destiny”, a quote from Back to the Future… pretty cool, I like. What’s even more cool is the fact that they let you download their two EPs Honesty and To Say The Least (each containing 5 songs) for free.
The trailer for the sixth Harry Potter movie “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” has just been released. Frankly, I haven’t even read the book (only 1-5), but I’m still very excited for the movie. I can’t believe the movies are already catching up on me, because I swore I would read the entire series before the movies came out. Well, I guess I still have some time left.
A few days ago I came across a very nice article titled 20 Super Foods You Need to Build Muscle & Lose Fat. It provides you with a great list of the healthiest food in the world that you should be eating and why it’s good for you. Looking through the list I feel pretty good. I eat whole eggs, berries (Açai, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, etc.), mixed nuts, broccoli, tomatoes, oranges, apples and carrots on a regular basis and will soon get some flax seeds. Oh, and finally I drink lots of water and I love green tea even though it’s honestly too hot these days to be drinking tea.
I recently mentioned that Denmark is the country with the happiest people in the world, but it doesn’t stop there; a reader correctly mentions in comment to the post I linked to earlier that Denmark is also the best place for business and furthermore Copenhagen (capital of Denmark) is the best city for quality of life. Wow, I had no idea I was this fortunate.
Jack’s Mannequin are releasing their forthcoming album The Glass Passenger September 30th, but to tide fans over they’re first going to release an EP titled The Ghost Overground that will be an iTunes exclusive. The EP’s gonna have some new material and unreleased live material from the previous record and will be released August 5th, 2008.
Apparently we Danes are the happiest people in the entire world.
It’s perhaps no surprise that Denmark tops the list, since it is a perennial favorite in any survey of this ilk. There is just something about life in that Scandinavian country that is apparently better than anywhere else.
Could I choose to have been born in another country I would definitely choose Canada. Maybe I’ve watched too much TV, but it looks like such a nice place, with equally nice people inhabiting it. Either that or Japan.
