Basically everybody in America will be given a free can of Dr Pepper if Guns N’ Roses long-awaited (only around 15 years, but who’s counting?) Chinese Democracy album will hit shelves this year:

The soft drink company says it will give a free can of Dr Pepper to “everyone in America” (excluding ex-GNR members Slash and Buckethead) if “Chinese Democracy” arrives anytime during the calendar year 2008.

They even started a blog in conjunction with the offer.

This is just crazy. I like it. I’m pretty sure this won’t convince Axl Rose of anything though.
