Panic at the Disco on The Leak

Yesterday the new Panic album was on MTV’s The Leak, which is awesome for those who live in the US/Canada as they allow you to stream an entire upcoming album before it’s released. I’ve been following people’s reaction to it and I’m pretty surprised that so many seem to enjoy it so much, because a lot of people hate the band because of their first album. I don’t know why, because I thought it was an excellent album.

It’s extremely difficult, but so far I’ve been able to refrain from downloading the leak even though it’s all over the place. The reason I’m not doing that is because I’ve ordered the deluxe edition of the album and the other reason is because I want to be surprised and preferably by a perfect quality album and not a webrip. I’m afraid that will ruin everything, because it definitely won’t have the same impact on me @ 64kbps.

What I have been doing these past few days is listen to some previews of the songs and I was surprised that I liked them so much, because I recently saw Panic live and I definitely didn’t fall in love with the songs right away. I have a feeling that the album will be something that’s very hard to pull of live because of all the horns, strings and whatnot that’s on a lot of songs and I also have a feeling that it’ll be one of those albums that grows on you. But we’ll see about that. As I live overseas I’m kinda afraid that I won’t actually get the album before it’s old news.

I’m so freakin’ excited about the album I can’t put it into words though. I’m really digging their new style judging from the 30-second previews I’ve heard.

Anyway, below is a video of the band explaining all the song titles on the album.
