Valid XHTML + CSS

Stashed in Weblog | Comments (2)

This site’s XHTML and CSS. now validate.
The footer has been lying for a while because of some mistakes I’ve made, which meant that the site didn’t validate, but I’ve fixed a few things and everything should be perfect again. It was only a few minor issues, but it feels nice to pass the tests.

A Fresh Start

The current design. I call it “Red Trees” and it’s a mod (a simple one) of “Trees”, which is designed by Christopher Ware.
I’m in love with Trees, which is a theme I’ve used for a couple of months, but I felt I needed to make it more… me.
Let’s get to it, shall we? These […]

My Sassy Girl Remake Trailer

Stashed in Movies | Comments (2)

The original My Sassy Girl from 2001 starring Tae-hyun Cha and Gianna Jun.
The American remake of my all-time favorite movie (along with Battle Royale) My Sassy Girl will soon be in theaters.
I’m not sure how I feel about the trailer. It was kind of odd seeing scenes that I know and love from the […]

A simple way to create and share mixtapes
It’s quite simple, really. I’ve uploaded a bunch of songs (each by a different artist as per the rules).

Christina Ricci in Penelope (2008). James McAvoy, Catherine O’Hara (mom in Home Alone) and Reese Witherspoon also star.
Penelope, being a modern fairy tale, is not the typical movie for me to watch, but it really took me by surprise; it was very good actually.
Penelope seems like the girl that should be living the high […]

Stashed in Journal | Comments (0)

Well, I can now cross four movies off of my list of movies to buy, most of which I’ve previously written about on this very blog:
This Is England
Wonderful well-acted movie. The ending was heart wrenching. See my blog post.
A story about a troubled boy growing up in England, set in 1983. He comes across […]

Dr Pepper and Chinese Democracy

Stashed in Music | Comments (0)

Basically everybody in America will be given a free can of Dr Pepper if Guns N’ Roses long-awaited (only around 15 years, but who’s counting?) Chinese Democracy album will hit shelves this year:
The soft drink company says it will give a free can of Dr Pepper to “everyone in America” (excluding ex-GNR members Slash […]

That’s What You Get

Check out Paramore’s new music video. Great choice, That’s What You Get is one of the best songs from their album RIOT!. And there’s a lot of good ones. I can’t believe Paramore isn’t more well known here in Denmark though, they are so awesome and one of my current favorite bands.

On Using Safari for Windows

Stashed in Journal | Comments (2)

I’ve previously tried Safari for Windows, but there were so many bugs I couldn’t be bothered. A few days ago I was notified that there was an update for Safari, which I put off for a while. After some time I finally updated and I’m pleased to say that it’s light years ahead of […]
