South Park has always been one of my favorite shows. Most episodes are funny, some not that much, but these three episodes (that have one thing in common: straying away from the normal South Park universe) are epic in my opinion. (Well as epic as South Park episodes can be anyway)
The boys go on a quest to return a tape “with evil powers” to the video store before the sixth graders steal it from them.
A very good episode, which was recommended by a friend of mine. If you like Lord Of The Rings, then I’m sure you’ll laugh.
Trivia: The alternate DVD title for this episode is known as “The Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers”, as it incorporates the names of all three Lord of the Rings books/movies. (More via Wikipedia)
The boys buy weapons at a fair and imagine themselves as anime characters.
My favorite episode ever. I don’t know if it’s because of the fact that it’s South Park at its best, or if it’s because there’s Japanese elements in the show in the shape of Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman looking like something out of an old anime or if it’s the kickass song called “Let’s Fighting Love” (which as the name suggests is full of hilarious Engrish) featured in the episode that takes me back to the good ol’ days of watching cartoons on Saturday mornings… but what I do know is that this episode is full of win.
Trivia: This was voted the second best South Park episode of all time by fans. (More via Wikipedia)
The boys dedicate their lives to defeat a mad gamer and saving the World of Warcraft.
I’m actually not into World Of Warcraft, but this was very good!
Trivia: Posters of Diablo 2, Warcraft III, StarCraft, and Blizzard Entertainment can be seen in the background at several points in the episode. (More via Wikipedia)
Sadly, I play World of Warcraft. I didn’t think it was that funny, maybe cause I have my set of frustration with the game. >
