What I’m Listening To #14

Holly Dolly - Dolly Song (DJ Satomi And Pure Dust Remix)

An amazingly addictive song! Listen to the original here. It’s like crack, but for my ears!

Italobrothers - The Moon

An Italo song at its finest. Love it.

Beatfreakz - Somebody’s Watching Me (E-Craigh 2006 Remix)

I loved the original Beatfreakz version, but it got boring after a while and now this harder version is pretty cool to listen to.

Pink - U & Ur Hand

I don’t really know whether I like Pink or not, but when she does songs like Just Like A Pill, Who Knew and now this I totally like her.

New Generation - Better Off Alone (Club Mix)

A 2006 version (although I don’t hear THAT much difference) of Alice Deejay’s song of same name.

Danijay - Encanto (Italian Version)

Another song from Italy. I think the song is just ok.

Steven Z - I Miss You Tonight

I love when the melody kicks in. Very relaxing for some odd reason and it also just sounds great.

Cobra Starship - Snakes On A Plane (Bring It)

I must admit that I’m really looking forward to the Snakes On A Plane movie after hearing so much about it, and after having seen so many parodies of it even BEFORE the theatrical release.

Neo Cortex - I Want You

I LOVE Neo Cortex’s “Elements”. I remember listening to Digitally Imported radio and for a while just waiting for that song to come on so I could hear it again. This song is not quite that good, but not bad either, in fact.. I like it.

Texas Sunseekers - Här Kommer Sommaren

A Swedish song. I guess it’s dance, but a pretty mellow track all in all.

Luka - To Nem Ai (DJ Ross Radio Remix)

Another nice Italo track. I’m sure I’ve listened to another version of this song sometime, probably an English version.

Luchetta And Dante - Viaggio Al Centro Del Mondo (The Produxer Mix)

A very good song.

Sugarcult - Do It Alone

Sugarcult is an American pop/punk band and even though I haven’t heard of them before I really like their style. Good song.

Head Automatica - Graduation Day

The only thing I don’t like about this song is the chorus. I like the verses way better. It sounds like they’re really gonna rock, but then they just do a pretty boring chorus.

Erazor - Sleepwalkers Dream

Good song.

Earphones - Lie To Me

Ok, this is the final Italian song. But hey, it’s not my fault that they produce such awesome tracks over there! I like the melody, very good track.

Jack’s Mannequin - Dark Blue

Awesome song. Haven’t heard of the band before though.

AFI - Miss Murder

AFI (A Fire Inside) is a pretty good band I’ve listened to a few times before. A friend of mine recently told me about this song and I like it. Very catchy.

Daniel Hollister:

Very nice picks. I hadn’t heard of any of those non-American ones except the Beatfreakz remix. Haha. But I just picked up a couple of these songs now from iTunes after listening. Very nice.

Glad you liked Head Automatica and Jack’s Mannequin. HA’s been around a little while, I don’t like their chorus to that song either but you might like “Going Nowhere” on the same album, I think it’s a much catchier song with a better chorus.

Also Jack’s Mannequin… I’m surprised you’ve heard of him at all! He’s the singer from Something Corporate, JM was his side project but lately they’ve been getting tons of attention…

actually, Luka - To Nem Aí is a brazilian music, singed in Portuguese :)

Thanks a lot for correcting me there Baba. ;-)

New AFI Video - Love Like Winter « Kendra On Wordpress:

[…] Thanks to my good friend Dennis and cool his music posts, I was introduced to AFI (A Fire Inside) and their awesome song Miss Murder, which I still can’t stop listening to. Well, I was just browsing YouTube earlier and came across their brand new music video called Love Like Winter, which actually just premiered on MTV’s Making Of The Video a few days ago. […]
