Interesting Google Earth Locations

Found two Google Earth locations today I thought were cool. The first one is of something that appears to be a flying car. Some specialists say that the object is 3-4 metres above ground and moving at a speed of 80 knots, or about 150 km/h.

The next one is a sand dune that looks like Jesus. I’m not gonna go into more details about that one…

If you have Google Earth installed on your computer, just click on the pictures and you’ll automatically be taken to that location.

UPDATE: There’s an update on the flying car story. Link.

Declan:

Hi All Experts,
Does anyone use google earth images as ground image planes for use in aerial scenes. I know how to stitch them together but are there any tools or tricks to make sure that the images are at the same height, angle and such to make sure they stitch well. I know in the pro version you can get bigger images but im not going to pay for the pro version when i could stitch multiple images together…
